Exams

Music grade examinations are available in all instruments, vocals and music technology. These go from grade 1 to grade 8, and then to diploma level. The exams are fully accredited, and grades 6-8 also provided UCAS points for university entrance.

“Rockschool” grades are used for contemporary exams, and they provide grades in acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, vocals, keyboards and music technology. You can find out more about Rockschool exams here.
